And did you know that these famous actors like Dilip Joshi, Disha Vakani, Shailesh Lodha are making big bucks and are proud owners of some expensive cars.

Here’s taking a look at what TV’s most popular actors from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ have to say about their obsession for luxurious cars.

Bhavya Gandhi as Tapu At present, I am driving Audi A4 which was bought by my mother. I remember, whenever I used to pass through the Audi showroom, I dreamt of having it. My mother somehow got to know about my dream and one day she surprised me by taking me to the Audi showroom. The car was already booked almost 2 months back and apart from me, every family member knew about it. It was a dream cum true moment for me. I love driving my car. Before Audi, we had Aqua and Yuva Chevrolet. In future, I want to buy Royal Enfield and that will be purchased by me.

Shailesh Lodha as Taarak Mehta At present, I am driving Mercedes-Benz E- Class which is one of my favorite cars. The first car was purchased by my father which was Maruti 800 and I also used to drive. Honestly, I love to travel and so I make sure that my car is been driven by myself. Apart from Mercedes, I also have cars like Coral and Indigo.

Nidhi Bhanushali as Sonu Honestly, I am not that fond of car, but yes my first car will surely be a sport car. It should be giant and very spacious. Presently, I travel by Santro which is of course my dad;s car. The first car which we had was Maruti 800 and there are lots of memories attached to it.

Shyam Pathak as Popatlal: Shyam Pathak owns a Innova car.

Azad Kavi Khan as Dr Hansraj I believe in comfortable more than showoff. My first car was Wagon R which I had for around 3 years. And then, I gifted myself Ertica which is really very comfortable. It;s been around 2 years and I am very happy with it.

Ambika Ranjankar as Komal Hansraj Hathi My first car was Esteem which was bought in 2007. At that moment, my husband was just learning driving and he wanted a second hand car so that he could master in it. So, it was bought as a second hand car. At present, I am using two cars, so if I am travelling in Mumbai, it is Ritz and if it;s outside Mumbai, then it;s Innova.

Gurucharan Singh as Mr sodi I bought my first car in the year 2000, it was Santro. It was the first expensive gift I had given to myself. At present, I am driving Creta of Honda Company. I also had Swift but I am planning to give that car to my parents in Delhi.

Dilkush Reporter as Mrs sodi The first car that I bought was a santro which I am still using it. Somehow, I tried to save up and buy my own car and I took the delivery on 14th February 2007 (Valentine Day) as a gift to myself. I have not changed my car because I have really maintained it well. Being a Parsi, we maintain our vehicles very well, so my car is in complete good condition. In fact, we do our servicing regularly and my husband is more conscious than me. He takes a good care of our car.

Mandar Chandwadkar as Mr. Atmaram Bhide My first car was Hyundai accent viva model which I had bought in the year 2009. It was a gift for me. Presently, I am driving Volksvagen vento which is very comfortable and spacious. But yes, I do have a dream of having my own BMW (Laughs).

Sonalika Joshi as Mrs. Bhide At present, I am using Etios car which is one of my favorite. My first car was Alto which I had bought in 2006 and the current car was purchased around 5 years back. Yes, I drive my own car and I am really happy to drive it. So far, I have purchased four cars and all of them were like a gift to me.

Tanmay Vekaria as Bagha At present, I have two cars one is Honda City and second is Desire. The first car which I had bought was Alto. I have really worked very hard to have a car for myself and Alto was the first expensive gift I had bought for myself. Right now, I am very happy and content with Honda City which I had bought in the year 2014.

Samay Shah as Gogi I do not drive car as I am not eligible for. But yes, I do dream of having my own Range Rover someday, but at present I am travelling in Innova which was purchased by my parents. The first car was Alto which we had bought in the year 2010 and immediately a year later we got Innova. I enjoy my travel as it is very comfortable.

Sharad Shankla as Abdul Sharad loves to drive Swift car. It was his first car.

Ghanshyam Nayak as Natukaka Honestly, nobody in my family knows to drive car including myself. Few years back, I had Maruti 800, but it was very difficult to maintain and so I sold it off. Currently, I travel by auto-rickshaw which is really comfortable for a person like me.
